The Niigata Vietnam Association was founded in 2013 by companies and educational institutions from Niigata, Japan, operating in Vietnam. It is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
On October 18, the association held a general meeting in Niigata City. At the meeting, Chairman Watanabe Yutaka said, “In the beginning, our goal was to introduce Vietnam to the people of Niigata, but now it has become an important mission to introduce Niigata to Vietnam.”
The general meeting also confirmed that the association will continue to support companies from Niigata in their business expansion in Vietnam, including providing consultation services.
“We want to spread the Niigata brand to the people of Vietnam, including the region and its products.”
After the general meeting, a seminar was held in which company representatives who had been stationed in Vietnam introduced their experiences.
